Washington, DC— With the first DC Veg Restaurant Week near its end, celebrity co-host USRepresentative Oye Owolewa commends all those involved and engaged in this successfulweek. From May 7th to 14th, DC Veg Week featured the District’s leading elected officialsincluding Ward 1 Council member Brianne Nadeau, Ward 2 Council member Brooke Pinto,Ward 3 Council member Mary Cheh and Mayor Muriel Bowser. DC Veg Week not onlycelebrated some of the best eating options in DC and surrounding areas, but also introducededucation on plant based meals to the greater community.
